Samsung Electronics’ new Bespoke Cube Air Infinite Line of air filter devices

Samsung Electronics released a new model of its premium air purifier, the Bespoke Cube Air Infinite Line, on March 25, featuring a new filter that does not require periodic replacement. The highlight of this model is the Infinite Line Filter.

The Infinite Line Filter consists of a washable sterilization dust collection filter specialized for air purification and deodorization and a photocatalytic deodorization filter.

Samsung Electronics emphasized that the washable sterilization dust collection filter removes 99.999% of indoor fine dust and captures bacteria with a high 99% sterilization capability through a dense electric field. It has acquired a Pure Air Certification from the Korea Ozone Ultraviolet Association, acknowledging its effectiveness in removing airborne bacteria and viruses. The dust collection part can be washed with water, allowing the filter to be reused every two months on average.

Instead of the conventional activated carbon method, the photocatalytic deodorization filter uses photocatalysts and ultraviolet light to adsorb and decompose odor substances, efficiently eliminating odors. Samsung Electronics explained that through periodic UV regeneration, the deodorization efficiency can be maintained at up to 80% of its initial level.

The Bespoke Cube Air Infinite Line incorporates 4way Surround Purification technology, which draws in polluted air from 360 degrees in all four directions and distributes clean air throughout the space. For the 100 square meter model, when rapid purification and circulation are needed, the Pop-up Purification Booster can be activated to send clean air up to 11 m quickly.

The Custom Purification AI+ feature compares and learns indoor and outdoor air quality, and if it predicts that the air quality will worsen, it purifies the indoor air in advance. Additionally, it is more convenient as users can receive voice guidance on indoor fine dust and carbon dioxide levels through Bixby, or control it with voice commands.

The retail price for the model equipped with the Infinite Line Filter is 1.899 million won (US$1,420) for the 100 ㎡ model, and 1.049 million won for the 33 ㎡ model.
