KB Financial Group has achieved the top position among domestic financial institution brands in the “Banking 500,” announced by the prestigious brand evaluation institution “Brand Finance” based in the U.K.

Brand Finance evaluates brand value annually by comprehensively considering financial performance, growth prospects, brand loyalty, and corporate sustainability among financial institutions worldwide. Following this evaluation, it announces rankings through the “Banking 500,” which encompasses a range of factors to assess the brand's value.

According to Brand Finance’s “Banking 500,” the brand value of KB Financial Group increased by 16.7 percent compared to the previous year, reaching around 7.2 trillion won. This places KB Financial Group as the top domestic financial institution and 63rd among global financial institutions.

As a company committed to “growing together with the nation,” KB Financial Group has been highly praised for fulfilling its social responsibilities and roles in the financial sector. It has earned commendation for demonstrating top-tier financial performance while also taking a leading role in addressing pressing social issues.
