Hanwha Life Insurance is accelerating efforts to discover and nurture future talent in Vietnam in order to foster mutual growth with local communities as a global company.

On Feb. 29 (local time), Hanwha Life signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with its local partner, the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) under the University of Danang and the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation for the "Future Talent Development Program in Finance and ICT in Vietnam." The signing ceremony took place in Danang, Vietnam, with key figures such as Hwang Jun-hwan, CEO of Hanwha Life Vietnam, and Huynh Cong Phap, President of the Vietnam-Korea University of ICT, in attendance, along with 150 undergraduate students majoring in FinTech at the Vietnam-Korea University of ICT.

Under this agreement, Hanwha Life will implement a step-by-step program for nurturing future talent in the fields of finance and ICT in Vietnam throughout the year. It will establish infrastructure and training courses specialized in FinTech education, and enhance the capabilities of both Vietnamese future generations and faculty members. In alignment with Vietnam's national education strategy, particularly in high-demand ICT fields in the country, Hanwha Life will share its expertise in finance and FinTech.

Hong Jeong-pyo, vice president of the communications office at Hanwha Life, stated, "By integrating Hanwha Life's FinTech expertise, we are committed to building financial and ICT education infrastructure, cultivating talent, and nurturing future generations. We aim to continue contributing as an integral part of the local community in Vietnam.”
