In the “2024 Most Admired Company in Korea” event organized by Korea Management Association Consultants (KMAC), S-OIL has been selected as the top company in the petroleum industry for eight consecutive years and as an All Star 30, representing the top 30 companies, for six consecutive years.

The “Most Admired Company in Korea” is selected annually through a comprehensive evaluation of six areas including innovation capability, customer value, and brand value. S-OIL has been honored with this award for eight consecutive years, recognizing its achievements in striving for satisfaction among all stakeholders.

Under its vision for 2030 as “the leading environmentally friendly energy and chemical company with the highest competitiveness and creativity,” S-OIL has achieved growth through the establishment of an optimal business portfolio that harmonizes refining, petrochemicals, and lubricants. It has made pioneering facility investments in anticipation of energy trends, conducted customer-centric innovative brand marketing, practiced ESG management for sustainable society, and invested in talent development and digital transformation.

Meanwhile, S-OIL is focusing its capabilities on expanding its petrochemical business and venturing into new sectors such as hydrogen. The “Shaheen Project,” the largest-scale petrochemical investment in Korea aimed for completion by 2026, is expected to solidify the company’s revenue structure and serve as a new growth engine enhancing its competitiveness.

Furthermore, S-OIL actively practices ESG management by reducing carbon emissions according to its decarbonization road map, engaging in CSR activities that involve the local community, and establishing a transparent ethical management system. Recognizing these efforts, S-OIL has been included in the DJSI World list for 14 consecutive years, making it the only oil refinery in the Asia region to achieve this distinction.
