Kumho Tire has achieved a series of excellent results in a tire performance test conducted by ADAC, a world-class automotive magazine published in Germany.
In the summer tire performance test organized by ADAC Magazine, which has a 120-year history and the largest circulation in Germany, Kumho Tire’s ECSTA HS52 Tire ranked third overall after Continental and Michelin, earning the highest rating among Korean tire makers.
The test was carried out at ADAC, which purchased its main European summer tires (215/55R 17) from 16 global tire makers including Kumho Tire.
The test evaluation was based on satisfaction with driving safety on dry and wet roads and environmental balance including mileage, wear, noises, and sustainability. Kumho Tire ranked third overall and received the highest rating of “Good,” which is only given to the best companies.
The ECSTA HS52 Tire is designed to provide drivers with comfortable driving experiences and high safety, making it suitable for both sedans and sports vehicles. By applying a solid block design to a tread pattern the tire maintains constant friction pressure between road surfaces and the ground, which reduces shock and noise and boosts ride comfort. In addition, the tire’s high-tech, rigid and strong shoulder block improves steering performances for stable driving.
