Hironic, a specialist in beauty medical devices, announced the signing of a four-party memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Jan. 31 at the JW Marriott Hotel Seoul with the City of Taylor, Texas in the U.S.; Mastern America LLC; and The Economic Development Corporation (EDC) of Taylor, Texas.

This MOU outlines the project review and advancement for constructing a Hironic manufacturing plant in the city of Taylor, Texas. It includes provisions for the City of Taylor, Mastern, and EDC to provide relevant information and active support.

Specifically, the City of Taylor will introduce local real estate and assist with development procedure approvals, while Mastern will support Hironic in acquiring real estate in Taylor, along with rights granting, development, design, and construction. Additionally, the EDC has agreed to cooperate to the fullest extent possible in providing incentives for Hironic to conduct business in the area.

Lee Sang-won, CEO of Hironic, stated, “Establishing a production plant in the U.S. has numerous advantages, including easier access to the North and South American markets and reduced logistics costs. We are grateful to Mayor Brand Rydell of Taylor and Ben White, CEO of the EDC, for showing their support and cooperation for Hironic during their visit to Korea.”

Hironic, listed on the KOSDAQ market in 2014, manufactures and sells medical devices for skin beauty, including V-RO ADVANCE (export name New Doublo 2.0), PICOHI, GENTLO (export name SILKRO), and ULTRA VERA.
