Seoul AI hub, supported by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, announced that 35 AI startups it supports participated in CES 2024, showcasing their AI-based products and technologies to the global market. Among these, startups that participated as part of Seoul AI hub’s global expansion support project included Nation A (AI-based 3D content SaaS), Monit (AI-based digital healthcare solutions for elderly patients), Toonsquare (AI-based webtoon SaaS), PIA Space (multimodal technology-based context recognition solutions), and HudsonAI (AI-based dubbing solutions).

Notably, Nation A, which won two CES Innovation Awards, and StudioLab, developer of an automated fashion detail page creation solution, received the CES Best Innovation Award. Other winners included mAy-I, a developer of CCTV offline visitor data analysis solutions, Synergy A.I., which developed an AI-based arrhythmia prediction diagnostic solution, and Indiedj, developer of an AI-based music recommendation radio streaming solution, all recognized globally for their technology.

Nation A’s CEO, Yoo Soo-yeon, stated, “With the support of Seoul AI hub, we achieved the great feat of winning a CES 2024 Innovation Award. This award will be an important tipping point for our entry into the global market.”

Seoul AI hub focused not only on supporting AI startups for global market entry at CES 2024 but also on promoting the Korean AI ecosystem and trends. On Jan. 11 (local time), the “Seoul AI Hub Seminar” was held at CES 2024 Eureka Park. The seminar introduced Korean AI technology expanding globally, followed by pitching sessions where hub-nurtured companies shared their AI products and technologies.

Furthermore, Seoul AI hub is providing ongoing support after CES 2024 participation. Utilizing AI technology, the hub analyzes the effectiveness of participating companies’ booths and introduces systems to enhance promotional effects, currently being offered at CES 2024.

Ham Jong-min, director of Seoul AI hub, said, “At CES 2024, where key players from around the world gather, Seoul AI hub will aggressively work to connect AI startups with local partners, investors, and key institutions. This will be a great opportunity to not only continuously support AI startups’ global expansion but also accelerate their entry into the global market.”
