CJ ENM announced on Jan. 11 that it will host the K-Culture Festival KCON Hong Kong 2024 at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong on March 30 and 31.

KCON is a festival that combines a K-Pop show with a convention where attendees can directly experience the Korean lifestyle. Since its inception in the United States in 2012, it has established itself as a leading K-Culture landmark event, encompassing Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Central and South America, with editions in Japan, the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi), France, Mexico, Australia, Thailand, and Saudi Arabia.

Over the past 12 years, KCON has been held in 9 countries with a total offline audience of approximately 1.65 million.

This year marks the first time KCON will be held in Hong Kong. The AsiaWorld-Expo, the venue for KCON Hong Kong, is a leading convention center in Hong Kong, featuring an arena that can accommodate up to 10,000 people and the largest performance and meeting facilities in Hong Kong. CJ ENM plans to organize a robust and diverse lineup centered around K-Pop.

From May 10 to 12, KCON Japan 2024 is scheduled to take place in Japan. This year, the event will introduce a new venue for large-scale concerts, showcasing a mega-event for K-Pop. Following KCON LA 2024 from July 26 to 28, the event plans to visit a total of 5 regions, including Europe and Saudi Arabia, in the second half of the year.
