HL Group, a leading electric vehicle and autonomous driving solutions company, announced a mobility software agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) at CES 2024 in Las Vegas in the U.S.

The agreement ceremony, held on Jan. 9 at the CES 2024 HL Mando booth, was attended by HL Mando’s Vice Chairman Cho Seong-hyun and Yasser Alsaied, vice president of IoT at Amazon Web Services. HL Mando unveiled MiCOSA for the first time, officially declaring its entry into the software market.

HL Mando’s strengthening of its collaboration with AWS is attributed to AWS’ status as a global leader in cloud computing and IoT. Starting with Holistic Vehicle Dynamic Control, HL Mando is expanding its domain to data-driven features and cloud service platforms.

Utilizing AWS technology, HL Mando is developing various MiCOSA solutions including Prognostics and Health Management for in-operation fault prevention and Road Surface Perception.

Yasser Alsaied expressed enthusiasm about starting an innovative journey combining AWS technology and HL Mando's MiCOSA software.

Cho Seong-hyun, vice chairman of HL Mando, highlighted the partnership as a breakthrough for the software-centric vehicle era, committing to intensify efforts in advanced software development with AWS.
