Supporting the Corea Image Communication Institute

Pernod Ricard Korea, the Korean subsidiary of the global liquor company Pernod Ricard Group, will donate 40 million KRW to the Corea Image Communication Institute (CICI) and sponsor in kind various cultural communication events organized by CICI in 2024.

Pernod Ricard Group has set a 2030 Sustainability and Responsibility Roadmap, ‘Good Times from a Good Place’ built on key pillars including ‘Nurturing Terroir, Valuing People, Circular Making and Responsible Hosting’, which had been implemented at all its subsidiaries around the world, pursuing various sustainable and responsible business. The CICI Foundation sponsorship is part of the ‘Valuing People’ goal, where Pernod Ricard Korea recognizes the importance of multi-cultural communication, resonating with the purpose of CICI to promote Korean culture to the world. Pernod Ricard Korea plans to continue its sponsorship in 2024, which began in 2023.

Pernod Ricard Korea will actively support the CICI in sponsoring various cultural communication events in 2024, including a donation of 40 million KRW and provide some of the supplies needed for the events operated by the foundation. As a start, Pernod Ricard Korea will sponsor the Korea Image Awards, ‘CICI Korea 2024’, which will be held on January 10th, and will continue to lend a helping hand to official events held by CICI throughout the year.

Frantz Hotton, CEO of Pernod Ricard Korea commented, "It was meaningful to work with CICI this year, which is striving to promote a positive image of Korea to the world" And added "We will strive to live up to the diversity and inclusion spirit of Pernod Ricard Group through multi-cultural communication."

In addition, Pernod Ricard Korea sponsored the "Culture Communication Forum CCF 2023" organized by CICI in 2023. The Culture Communication Forum CCF started with the C20 Cultural Summit, which was held by inviting cultural center statistics leaders when the G20 Summit was held in Seoul in 2010, and has been held annually since 2011 thanks to the successful hosting of the event in 2010.
