A harmonious blend of diverse flavors, seamlessly fusing Korean elements with Parisian sensibilities

Chef Jimyung Lee of Park Hyatt Seoul, celebrated for his creativity and artistry, and Chef Narae Kim of Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, named the Best Pastry Chef of the Year by the French restaurant guide Gault & Millau, will jointly present "Four Hands Dessert: Taste of Seoul and Paris" on the top floor of Park Hyatt Seoul's The Lounge on January 14, for one day only.

Chef Jimyung Lee of Park Hyatt Seoul has earned recognition, winning silver and bronze medals in the patisserie category at the Singapore FHA Culinary Challenge, one of the three major international cooking competitions with participation from chefs in over 30 countries.

Chef Narae Kim of Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, a Korean native with a wealth of international experience from Seoul to Guam, Vietnam, and France, has twice won the gold medal in the World Global Pastry Chef Challenge. In 2024, she was crowned the Best Pastry Chef of the Year by the esteemed French restaurant guide Gault & Millau. Established in 1972, Gault & Millau is one of the most reputable restaurant guidebooks, alongside the Michelin Guide. Annually, it selects outstanding professionals in the categories of cuisine, patisserie, sommelier, and hall management. Notably, Chef Kim's recognition marks the first time a foreign woman has been honored in the patisserie category, and it is also the first for a Korean.

Four Hands Dessert: A Taste of Seoul and Paris, infused with the creativity and inspiration of Chefs Jimyung Lee and Narae Kim, consists of delicately curated, innovative 8-course desserts, accompanied by a glass of champagne and a cocktail. This gastronomic journey that simultaneously captures the taste and style of Seoul and Paris will take place for one day only on January 14, making early reservations highly recommended.

Set against the panoramic backdrop of the vibrant cityscape, The Lounge, which offers contemporary Korean cuisine with seasonal ingredients and a delightful selection of desserts, including creatively crafted afternoon tea sets, has earned the prestigious title of Best Pastry Shop in 2023 from La Liste, a globally acclaimed gastronomic guide organized by the French Tourist Board.
