Huawei Korea recently hosted the ICT Talent Alumni Ceremony, a ceremony celebrating and announcing the achievements of participants in its domestic ICT talent development program. The event took place on Dec. 22 at the Emerald Hall of Lotte Hotel Seoul in the Jung district of the city. It was organized as a platform for expressing gratitude for the active participation of local ICT talent and for the participants to share their dreams and experiences, fostering a network of communication.

Approximately 50 undergraduate and graduate students who participated in this year’s ICT talent development program by Huawei Korea attended the ceremony, along with Balian Wang, the CEO of Huawei Korea. During his welcome speech, Balian Wang emphasized the company’s commitment to nurturing local talent and enhancing its capabilities in the ICT sector, supporting the expansion of ICT knowledge and contributing to the development of Korea's ICT industry. He also expressed his intention to lead ICT innovation and build a strong community where participants can interact and communicate based on continuous cooperation with domestic universities, educational institutions, and companies.

Additionally, the event highlighted the accomplishments of Huawei's flagship talent development programs, Seeds for the Future and the ICT Competition, held this year. Awards, including Huawei Matebooks, eyewear, and watches, were presented to the leaders and members of teams who demonstrated outstanding capabilities.
