POSCO International has recently announced on Dec. 6 that it has secured an order worth 300 billion won for eco-friendly car parts from a major U.S. automaker.

The electric vehicle (EV) components acquired in this order are reducers, essential parts of the EV drive system, and are increasingly spotlighted as key components in the era of electric vehicles.

The contract, valued at approximately 300 billion won, is planned to be supplied in phases to major North American car manufacturers from 2024 to 2032, with additional orders currently underway.

Last month, POSCO International signed a hydrogen vehicle parts supply contract worth 100 billion won with French automaker Hyvia. From 2025, they will deliver power converters for Hyvia’s new vehicles.
