Wontech Co., Ltd. announced on Nov. 29 that it has completed the Canadian Health Authority Medical Device License (MDL) approval for The Oligio, the next-generation version of its RF blockbuster Oligio.
This approval enables sales of The Oligio in Canada, and is expected to contribute to the strengthening of operations in the United States and Central and South America, where preparations are currently underway.
Last weekend, Wontech’s Thai subsidiary, “Wontech Asia,” and the Global Key Opinion Leader group’s launch event The Grand Tour saw participation from over 100 influential doctors and stakeholders from more than 10 countries, including Korea, the United States, Taiwan, and Brazil.
Meanwhile, since its official launch in South Korea at the end of October, nearly 60 units of Oligio X (approved name: The Oligio) have been delivered within the first month, which is significantly faster than the initial distribution speed of the original Oligio, as reported by a company representative.
