Doosan Digital Innovation (DDI) announced on Sept. 26, local time, that it was named the top enterprise in the “AI for Manufacturing” category at the “Dataiku Frontrunner Awards” ceremony held at the Spring Studios in New York.

Now in its third year, the Frontrunner Awards, hosted by global leading company Dataiku in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), recognizes the successes of customers, partners, non-profit organizations, academia, and individual users who have made significant contributions to the everyday use of AI.

DDI was recognized for its contribution in developing a dedicated AI model to support efficient decision-making at Doosan Enervibility, which enhanced the accuracy of electric steel quantity predictions to 98%. Their adoption of Dataiku’s MLOps solution, known for its user-friendly interface and easy scalability for data processing, was also lauded for lowering the barriers to data analysis technology.

Under the stewardship of the Head of Digital (HoD) division responsible for the group's IT and DT strategies, DDI has been leading internal and external projects in AI, cybersecurity, among others. Especially in the Human Capital Management (HCM) sector, they've launched their in-house brand 'Peoply™', taking an industry-leading position. Notably, after implementing it across various subsidiaries of the group, DDI has utilized a 'Lighthouse' strategy to expand its successful applications into external ventures, accelerating business expansion.
