GS Engineering & Construction’s top management met with Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Chairman and Mayor Phan Van Mai, who is currently on a visit to South Korea, to discuss mutual cooperation strategies for development projects in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

GS E&C announced on Sept. 25 that its top executives, including Vice Chairman and CEO Lim Byeong-yong, Chief Future Innovation Officer and President Huh Yoon-hong, and CFO and Vice President Kim Tae-jin, had a meeting with Phan Van Mai, chairman of Ho Chi Minh City, at Lotte Hotel in Seoul on Sept. 24 to discuss investment cooperation strategies.

During the meeting, GS E&C requested the Ho Chi Minh City government’s attention and support for its ongoing development projects in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Mayor Phan Van Mai expressed the city government’s interest in several development projects that GS E&C is actively pursuing in Ho Chi Minh City and asked for continued investment from GS E&C in future development projects in the city.

Meanwhile, GS E&C is actively engaged in market exploration in Vietnam by investing in development projects in Ho Chi Minh City such as Nha Be New Urban Area Project, Long Bien New Urban Area Project, and Tutiem Housing Development Project.
