On Sept. 13 (Korean time), LG Chem announced the inauguration of its European Customer Solution Center (CS Center) in Frankfurt, Germany. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of LG Chem’s Petrochemical Division Chief Noh Guk-rae, the Deputy Mayor of Frankfurt, and other key executives and personnel.

The CS Center is a specialized organization that provides comprehensive technical solutions such as product development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement for clients and partners.

Built over an area of around 7,400 ㎡ with three above-ground levels, the European CS Center has had approximately 500 billion won invested in its construction since September 2021. The facility boasts equipment on par with customer production levels, such as extrusion and injection devices.

Specialists at the center are equipped with advanced processing capabilities specifically for eco-friendly materials like recycled plastics, in addition to materials for major European automotive clients. These experts are stationed to provide technical support.

With the opening of the European CS Center, LG Chem aims to establish a local technical solution base to bolster its market position in Europe.

Since LG Chem first entered the European market in 2005, its sales in the region have grown nearly a hundredfold.
