Doosan Bobcat employees engage in community service

On Sept. 13, Doosan Bobcat reported that over a thousand of its employees from business locations in 12 countries worldwide took part in community service activities on Sept. 12. The activities were on a relay that started from Korea and passed through Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the U.S.

In Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, Korea, where Doosan Bobcat’s headquarters is located, around 100 employees took part in removing harmful plants from Tancheon, contributing to the protection of the river’s ecosystem. In Yongsan, Seoul, and Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, and at the forklift production factory in Incheon, employees engaged in activities like cleaning orphanages, painting, and replacing mosquito nets and other facility maintenance tasks.

At the Doosan Bobcat U.S. branch located in West Fargo, North Dakota, they visited a local school and restored an eroded pond. Notably, equipment such as skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders, excavators, and compact tractors from Doosan Bobcat were utilized to move rocks and waterproofing materials.

Elsewhere, in countries like Czech Republic and South Africa, employees participated in local environmental cleanup activities. In Germany, they volunteered at child protection facilities, while in France they were involved in blood donation activities. In India, they supported schools and medical facilities. Throughout the day, Doosan Bobcat employees worldwide tirelessly worked for the betterment of their communities.
