LG is promoting the 2030 Busan World Expo at global landmarks in major cities such as New York, London, and Paris.

From June of last year to recently, LG has been advertising the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo on large outdoor billboards at iconic spots like New York’s Times Square and London’s Piccadilly Circus. From Sept. 7, LG has also started supporting the bid at the location of the General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) in Paris.

LG has displayed support slogans for the 2030 Busan World Expo on six large outdoor billboards inside Paris' Charles de Gaulle International Airport.

Charles de Gaulle International Airport is a gateway for people visiting Paris and the wider European region, with over 50 million annual visitors.

The BIE plans to announce the venue for the 2030 World Expo at its 173rd General Assembly in Paris on Nov. 28.

Using the five letters of the city name of Busan, LG’s advertisements introduce various landmarks of Busan, showcasing the harmony of its traditional and modern culture.

LG had also carried out promotional activities during the 172nd BIE General Assembly in June, displaying advertisements near the Charles de Gaulle Airport and 110 billboards near the venue, the Issy-les-Moulineaux area, wishing for the 2030 Busan World Expo bid.

Moreover, LG had expanded its promotional activities to the Chopin International Airport and Central Station in Warsaw, Poland.
