Gureumus Co., Ltd., a pioneer in AI-based next-generation facial recognition solutions, announced that it presented its FaceTracker solution during the 2023 K-ICT WEEK in Busan, the largest integrated ICT event in the Yeongnam region, spanning from Wednesday, September 6th, to Friday, September 8th. The 2023 K-ICT WEEK in Busan brings together three events in one place, namely AI, IT, and CLOUD, offering an opportunity to connect with diverse professionals in these fields.

Additionally, it can serve as an excellent opportunity for domestic and international businesses to explore new markets, with activities such as overseas and domestic buyer matching meetings and investor invitations.

This product was developed in response to the shift towards various remote work, online education, and remote testing methods, accelerated by the digital transformation driven by COVID-19, which has transitioned learning and work styles from traditional offline methods to online and other contactless approaches. The distinctive feature of Gureumus's product lies in real-time tracking and recording, particularly through facial recognition.

While the original Gureumus’s FaceTracker could initially only identify the IP address connected to a webpage, the recent upgrade of FaceTracker allows users to confirm user names, IP addresses, and provides specific evidence of any suspicious activities. In other words, it can verify whether users were engaged in activities other than video viewing and offers the ability to download data in CSV file format on a daily basis.

Like during the AI EXPO in May, Gureumus once again prepared promotional videos and demonstrations of the FaceTracker product at this exhibition to captivate the interest of attendees.

Seung-chul Han, CEO of Gureumus, expressed, "Having developed this product based on years of expertise in AI research and development, we believe it will meet the actual needs of our customers. We have been receiving ongoing inquiries about our FaceTracker product from domestic and international proctoring service providers, and we are looking to establish a new foothold in the domestic market in the near future."
