Vice Chairman Kim Dong-kwan of Hanwha met with President Andrzej Duda of Poland during the afternoon of Sept. 5, local time, at the Hanwha booth at the MSPO, Poland’s International Defense Industry Exhibition.

Vice Chairman Kim explained to President Duda about Hanwha’s cutting-edge technology that encompasses land, sea, and air, as well as tailored solutions specialized for the Polish region. Notably, Kim emphasized the technical capabilities of Hanwha Ocean’s 3000 ton submarine KSS-III Batch-II, highlighting its excellent underwater performance and multi-purpose vertical launch systems.

Following this, Vice Chairman Kim and President Duda discussed the construction of a cooperative system, including joint product ventures between Hanwha and Polish defense companies, technological support measures, utilization of local shipyards, and MRO business initiatives.

Vice Chairman Kim commented, “I anticipate that Hanwha’s comprehensive defense solutions for land, sea, and air will contribute to the strengthening of mutual goodwill and technical cooperation between our two nations.”
