Aiming to achieve its goal of “securing 1,000 Tous Les Jours stores in the U.S. by 2030,” CJ Foodville has decided to initiate the construction of this new facility. The company plans to invest more than 50 billion won in Hall County, Gainesville, Georgia, to set up the factory on an approximately 90,000㎡ plot within the year.

Scheduled for completion in 2025, CJ Foodville’s U.S. factory is designed to have an annual production capacity exceeding 100 million items, including frozen dough and cakes. Upon operational commencement, the facility is expected to serve as the primary production hub for the ever-expanding Tous Les Jours franchise stores in North America.

While other potential locations, including Texas, were considered for the plant, the company ultimately chose Georgia, largely influenced by the state’s proactive approach, which included direct visits by state officials to woo CJ Foodville.

According to CJ Foodville, Georgia offers excellent market accessibility across the U.S. and is home to over 330 global manufacturing and food companies, making it a business-friendly environment.
