Iris, a U.K. subsidiary of South Korea’s leading advertising firm Cheil Worldwide, bought Atom42, a London-based digital marketing agency, to bolster its prowess in global online marketing.

According to Cheil Worldwide on November 21, Atom42 is a full-service digital marketing agency founded in 2007 that has the differentiated competitiveness especially in search marketing and digital contents strategy.

Atom42 made use of its specialized solutions and showed the effective direction and best results of digital marketing while working together with Iris to carry out digital campaigns for BMW Mini, Shell and Domino Pizza. In addition, it holds clients from a wide array of sectors from charity and insurance to online publishing, such as Drinkaware, NAH and Match.com. Its project with Premier Global, a U.K. fitness education provider, since 2015 has helped boost overall conversion rate by about 130 percent.

With the latest buyout, Cheil Worldwide will create bigger synergies with Iris, Founded, Pricing Solutions and other acquired companies as it will allow the company to offer an integrated digital marketing solution from planning to impact assessment.
