LG Display (LGD) announced that it will participate in the “SID 2017” exhibition in Los Angeles from May 23 to 26 (local time).

LGD will showcase its future display products by dividing its booth into three areas: OLED (organic light emitting diode) TVs, IT & mobile, and automobiles under the theme of “Our Technology and Your Innovation.”

First of all, LGD will show a paper-thin 77 inch UHD (ultra-high quality) wallpaper TV. The TV features excellent image quality and maximizes design effects because it is thin and light, and can be completely stuck to a wall. A 65-inch UHD wallpaper TV panel, which will be unveiled together with 77 inch UHD (ultra-high quality) wallpaper TV, was selected as the "Display of the Year" in the SID.

Also on exhibit will be a 65-inch UHD CSO (Crystal Sound OLED) display with a sounding panel and a 55-inch FHD (Full HD) transparent display which can realize a natural, transparent screen.

In addition, LGD is planning to provide differentiated value in the IT market with large and high-resolution products by expanding the use of in-touch technology that applies touch sensors to panels to 24-inch monitors. The Korean display giant will also exhibit the world's largest 37.5 inch 21:9 curved monitor which maximizes users’ immersion and a 31.5-inch 8K monitor which realizes realistic high-definition images.

Furthermore, LGD will take the wrap off a 12.3-inch automotive display that doubles a front display and a transparent display, realizing a stereoscopic display that looks like a conventional analog display. In addition, LGD prepared an exhibition space that can make people feel as if they were using a display in a real car such as a mirror display with a high reflectance of 75% or more.
