LG CNS will pursue the AI-based big data business on a full scale by reorganizing the current big data business and expanding its workforce a great deal.

LG CNS announced on April 23 that it reorganized the Big Data Business Division into the "AI Big Data Business Division." The AI Big Data Business Division plans to build its own “AI big data platform” by August this year by acquiring fundamental AI technology in the areas of images, voices, and motion recognition. The AI big data platform being developed by LG CNS allows users to connect to a cloud environment regardless of time and place, and use as much data space as they want. The data collected through the platform is processed into a form that can be analyzed and then assist customer decision making through big data analysis based on deep learning.

Customers using the LG CNS big data platform will enable users to reduce the time (usually two to three months) and the cost of building infrastructure as well as to use data analysis services of stable quality managed by professional organizations.

LG CNS will also bring in more talent. In addition, the company is recruiting big data technology and analysis specialists from other business organizations through in-house recruitment announcements. In addition, the company is discussing ways to utilize deep learning professionals through strategic alliance with global companies and Korean start-ups. These plans will scale up the number of workers in the division from current 200 to 400 by next year.
