New SUV Model
Ssangyong Motor announced on March 27 that it has confirmed “G4 Rexton” as the name of a new large sports utility vehicle (SUV) developed under the project name “Y400.”
"The model name of the G4 Rexton car shows its willingness to inherit the brand value of Rexton, the flagship model of the Ssangyong SUV lineup and its symbolic presence as a domestic luxury SUV." said a representative of Ssangyong Motor.
The design of the G4 Rexton was inspired based on the Parthenon, which became a prototype of the world’s architecture with its grandeur and harmony. The interior design has the image and sensitive quality that matches a premium SUV, and provides plenty of space for all passengers, including those in the second row to move comfortably.
The G4 Rexton will debut at the Seoul Motor Show’s Press Day, which will be held on March 30.
"The G4 Rexton will compete with the Mohave of Kia Motors, the Land Rover Discovery and the Ford Explorer," said a representative of Ssangyong Motor. "It will be the best choice for customers who enjoy their leisure time."
