SK Engineering & Construction (SK E&C) announced on Feb. 21 that it donated 30 educational computers to the Islamic Educational Center Baish located in the Baish District of the Jazan Economic City in Saudi Arabia.

The company’s executives and employees who take part in the Jazan Refinery & Terminal construction project were looking for ways to strengthen ties with the local community and carry out corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities and heard that students in the neighborhood cannot take computer classes due to a poor education environment. So, they gladly decided to donate computers.

The donated computers were under-utilized on the site as they were labeled as obsolete computers. However, they could be useful as educational computers in the local community.

SK E&C also sent relief goods to earthquake victims in Ecuador and donated educational facilities in Vietnam last year, offering various CSR programs around the world.
