KCC’s Products Selected as World-Class Products for 8 Consecutive Years

KCC Corp announced that its three products including anticorrosive and antifouling paints were selected as "world-class products" by KOTRA this year as well.

The selected products include a shipbuilding anti-corrosive paint (Korepox EH2350) and a vacuum interrupter (VI), both of which were selected for eight consecutive years since 2009 and an antifouling paint (Seacare A/F795). KCC became the only Korean company to set this record. 

KOTRA’s world-class products are official certificates that are given to nurture Korea’s representative products that will lead Korea’s export industry. They are given to products that made the top five in the world market in terms of market shares, enjoyed a market share of 5% or higher, chalked up annual sales of over US$ 50 million or an annual export volume of over US$ 5 million.    

KCC's anticorrosive and antifouling paints and vacuum interrupters are world-class products that are exported to all over the world in recognition of their excellent quality and performances. They are maintaining high market shares in the global market based on their unique technology in these sectors.

KCC's anti-corrosion and anti-fouling paints for ships were already applied to thousands of ships of many countries. On top of that, they were exhibited at an international shipbuilding, marine, oil & gas exhibition named the KOMARINE 2015 held every two years and drew many visitors from all over the world as one of KCC's representative global products.

KCC’s VIs is a ceramic material used for vacuum circuit breakers that separate circuits when electric current load is switched on and off or an electric current accident occurs. KCC is the only company that produces VIs in Korea and is competing with famous companies in global markets.
