For the fourth consecutive year, Korean Air has been acknowledged for its first-class service.

Korean Air announced on October 2 that it became the winner of Asia’s Leading Airline First Class 2013 at the World Travel Awards Asia & Australasia Gala Ceremony 2013, held at Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa, Dubai, on October 1 (local time).

First Class “Kosmo Suites” are installed in Korean Air's Airbus A380 superjumbo.The World Travel Awards was created by the World Travel Group, a global leader in travel, tourism, Internet, and publishing. Annually, the group announces regional winners in the field of airlines, airports, hotels, and tourism, selected by those engaged in travel, tourism, and airline industries worldwide.

In 2009, Korean Air introduced “Kosmo Suites” in its first-class cabins of some next-generation airplanes such as the Boeing 777 and Airbus A380. Each cubicle is worth 250 million won (US$233,250). Equipped with a seat convertable into a 79-inch long bed, Kosmo Suites provide spacious and comfortable spaces for customers.
