Hanwha Q CELLS announced on June 21 that it would take part in Intersolar Europe 2016, the world’s leading exhibition for the solar industry, held in Munich, Germany from June 22 to 24.

One of the world’s four exhibitions, Intersolar is attended by companies from China, Japan, and others from Asia as well as those from Europe. Hanwha Q CELLS will show not only its solar modules but also QHOME System which is a unified energy solution for houses.

A Hanwha official said, “We are expanding our business into energy management as well as solar module manufacturing by launching QHOME System.”

Hanwha has been authorized to be a record setter by the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE (or Fraunhofer ISE) in Germany, because its poly-crystalline solar module has recently reached 19.5 percent efficiency, the highest in the world. The company’s own technology, QANTUM Technology applies to the poly-crystalline solar module.
