The company posted an image with the text “Who will be the owner of Batsuit?” on its official Facebook account on May 26, teasing an upcoming special edition Galaxy S7 edge with hashtags of “Coming Soon,” “Galaxy S7 edge,” and “Gear VR.” Samsung Electronics also posted another teaser image on Facebook a day ago, attracting attention from consumers.
The latest teaser image shows a Black Onyx version of the Galaxy S7 edge with a bat symbol on the dark background. The image of the rear of the smartphone hasn’t rereleased yet but it is highly likely to have the bat symbol. Since the Galaxy S7 allows you to take high-quality photos even at night, it fits with the character of Batman who only works at night.
Previously, Samsung Electronics introduced the Galaxy S6 edge Iron Man Limited Edition.
At that time, the company released the model in time for the release of Avengers 2 in which Iron Man appeared. It was sold for more than 100 million won (US$84,567) via an online Chinese auction.
Accordingly, Samsung Electronics teamed up with DC Comics, which owns super hero characters like Batman and Superman and released the Batman edition this time first.
