The Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) announced on Apr. 15 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with KIC Silicon Valley at the headquarters in Seoul to help fintech firms to expand their businesses abroad.

KIC Silicon Valley is a government-affiliated organization established by the IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) under the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning in 2014. It helps ICT companies to expand their businesses to the U.S. market.

Under the agreement, IBK will recommend fintech firms and helps them participate in the 8-week accelerator programs and demo day events operated by KIC Silicon Valley in the U.S.
