Visa Simplification
Citizens of the Republic of Korea will be able to get a single entry visa to Azerbaijan beginning today. A 30-day visa will be granted to Korean citizens at all international airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan upon their arrival. The visa section of the Consular Departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan in all countries are authorized to issue a single entry visa to Korean citizens upon their arrival as well.
The Embassy of Azerbaijan strongly believes that the recent decision will positively affect bilateral trade relations between the two countries, and will encourage entrepreneurs of both countries to consider mutual investment opportunities and projects.
Azerbaijan and Korea share cooperation in all aspects of interstate relations, which includes human-to-human and business-to-business relationships in both the private and state sector. With this development, Azerbaijan looks forward to building a closer and stronger relationship with the Republic of Korea.
The decision of the Azerbaijani government to ease visa acquirements is purely based on the will of the government to create new opportunities for the people of both countries to have more exchanges in cultural, tourism and business sectors.
