About 250 Korean small and medium enterprises have pushed into global markets through SK Planet’s e-commerce platform 11st.

IT solutions developer SK Planet announced on January 25 that it has supported around 250 SMEs to tap into global markets through its overseas e-commerce platform for six months from June to December last year as part of the collaboration project between conglomerates and SMEs, which was jointly led by the company and the Large and Small Business Cooperation Foundation.

Such results were achieved through SK Planet’s overseas e-commerce platform. The company has been running its e-commerce platform 11st with different names in global markets – elevenia in Indonesia, and 11Street in Malaysia. It also ran a Korean zone on the e-commerce website in each market, offered global delivery services and helped the SMEs in translation. Based on supports, the Korean SMEs were able to sell their products on the platform.

Earlier, SK Planet joined hands with the state-run Small and Medium Business Administration and the Large and Small Business Cooperation Foundation to establish a SMEs zone on the overseas e-commerce platform to help them go global.
