On Sept. 18, Samsung Electronics pre-sold 1,000 units of the Samsung Gear S2 on its official online store. The products were sold out in about 100 minutes by around 10:40 a.m.

Two types of the product were open for pre-sale, one being the Gear S2 and the other being the Gear S2 Classic, both of which come with Bluetooth. The former’s factory price is 333,300 won (US$284) and the latter’s is 374,000 won (US$318). They were officially released on Oct. 2, and the 3G version of the Gear S2 will be put on the market next month, too.

In the meantime, Huawei also started the pre-sale of its first smart watch, named the Huawei Watch, in Europe on the same day. It is available at 399 euros (US$451) or 499 euros (US$564), and the 399-euro model comes with a silver-colored main body and a leather strap.

Apple is also planning to release the Apple Watch Hermes in collaboration with Hermes on Oct. 5. The 38 mm single tour model with a stainless steel case is to be available at 1.45 million won (US$1,236) and the 42 mm model is expected to be priced at 1.52 million won (US$1,296). The estimated prices of 38 mm double tour and 42 mm cuff are 1.66 million won (US$1,415) and 1.99 million won (US$1,697), respectively.
