Medytox has recruited Director Kim Jae-wook as the new head of its Medical Division.
After graduating from Korea University’s School of Medicine, Kim went on to earn his Master’s degree from the same institution. He has previously served as the medical director at HUGEL, and as the Medical Head for the North Asia region at Alcon Korea.
Medytox plans to accelerate its entry into the global market by building academic programs and systems, spurred by the arrival of Director Kim.
“I am now part of Medytox, a company with high R&D capabilities and technological strength in the field of skin beauty treatments, including toxin formulations,” Kim said. “I will establish a global-level medical information program and a systematic academic support system for Medytox.”
In other news, Medytox is planning to apply for FDA approval for its non-animal liquid toxin formulation MT10109L within the year. The company is also pursuing the construction of a production factory in Dubai.
