Better Accessibility

Huawei Korea plans to expand the number of its customer service centers in Korea.

On July 7, Huawei Korea announced that the company would increase the number of its service centers across the country from 42 to 50.

Huawei Korea said, “With this expansion, we will improve customer service accessibility as well as the quality of services.”

The company also announced that through a promotional event, they plan to offer small gifts to 300 visitors on a first-come first-served basis.

Prior to expanding customer service centers beginning in January, Huawei began to provide free delivery services. Since May, it has started to provide a phone-leasing service.

In addition to that, to help customers access one-on-one counseling services, Huawei Korea is starting to provide a mobile messenger service through KakaoTalk. Anyone can access the customer service of Huawei Korea by adding @Huawei Korea on KakaoTalk, a Korean-made multi-platform texting app that allows users to send and receive messages for free. One can search “@ Huawei Korea device” on KakaoTalk as well. If customers encounter trouble using a Huawei phone, they can get an immediate response through a one-on-one online messaging service.

Some industry observers suspect Huawei Korea’s new attempt relates to preparation for launching a Huawei-made Nexus phone in Korea, but the spokesperson for Huawei denies this rumor.
