The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in conjunction with the Korea Visit Committee, will hold the “Korea Summer Beauty Sale” for a month from July 20 to August 20.

The Korea Summer Beauty Sale is a public-private partnership event held with the participation of the K-Tourism Cooperation Team and K-Beauty companies. It is a theme tourism festival offering special K-Beauty promotions and various K-Beauty experience programs, which are the most preferred shopping items by foreign tourists visiting Korea.

At this festival, various tourism companies, including K-Beauty companies, airlines, shopping, accommodation, and experiences, will voluntarily participate and present 20 special promotions, discounts, and gift giveaways in both online and offline events.

Major K-Beauty companies representing Korea such as CJ Olive Young, LG Household & Health Care, Sulwhasoo, KGC JUNG KWAN JANG, and Donginbi, as well as beauty salons, nail shops, and plastic surgery clinics frequently visited by foreigners in areas like Myeongdong, Gangnam, and Hongdae, will offer generous discounts and gift giveaways to foreign tourists.

Additionally, Shilla Duty Free, Lotte Duty Free, Lotte Department Store, Hyundai City Outlet and other retail businesses have prepared benefits such as K-Beauty product discounts. Incheon International Airport Corporation will hold an event to give away round-trip air tickets in commemoration of the Visit Korea Year, and T’way Airlines will offer up to 20% discounts on flights to Korea.

Furthermore, The Shilla Hotel, Mayfield Hotel, The Chosun Hotel & Resort, Paradise City and others in the hotel industry will provide exclusive benefits, while Creatrip, a global online travel agency (OTA), will run a promotion offering up to 80% discounts on K-Beauty products such as hair styling, nail care, skin care for customers from Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia.
