Lotte World Tower’s SKY31 Convention center, operated by Lotte Property & Development, has been selected as a “Korea Unique Venue.”

A Korea Unique Venue, selected jointly by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, represents a space capable of hosting meeting, incentive, convention, and exhibition (MICE) events that offer unique location-based experiences and embody the charm of Korea. In this contest conducted for the first time since 2020, along with 37 existing locations, SKY31 Convention and Busan’s “The Peak” were among 15 newly selected venues.

A ceremony was held on July 6 at The Peak to commemorate the designation of the “52 Unique Venues of Korea,” aimed at promoting collaboration among the venues. A Korea Unique Venue will receive various support to strengthen its competitiveness in attracting MICE events, including overseas promotion, marketing support, and facility improvement.

SKY31 Convention, comprising a lounge, auditorium, and conference rooms, is a space optimized for hosting international conferences, banquets, and other MICE events. Since its opening in 2018, it has hosted over 1,200 events. Located on the 31st floor of Lotte World Tower, a Korea landmark, it has been recognized for its unique appeal.

Kim Sang-chun, head of the Operations Division at Lotte Property & Development, said, “We’re honored and pleased that the SKY31 Convention in the Lotte World Tower has been selected as a Korea Unique Venue.” He added, “In the future, it will serve as a space to introduce the charm of Korea to the world by attracting various international MICE events, not only domestically but also internationally.”
