Korea South-East Power announced that it submitted two inventions to the 2023 Geneva Invention Exhibition held in Geneva, Switzerland, from April 26 to 30, and took home a total of four prizes –- the Gold, Silver, and Saudi Arabian and Polish Special Prizes.

Korea South-East Power submitted a system and method for predictive maintenance of power generation facilities based on augmented reality and a tube-type stray ammunition re-injection system in the power generation facility maintenance category.

These inventions are based on new technologies that the power company has jointly promoted with small and medium-sized enterprises by disclosing employees’ opinions about difficulties at power plant sites to the outside.

The power plant predictive maintenance system based on augmented reality, co-developed with Future Main, a small Korean company, triggered the interest of many participants and picked up the gold prize and a special prize from the Saudi Arabian Invention Association for its originality and technology.
