The Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) Authority announced that DB Schenker completed the Global Delivery Center (KLC2) at the Airport Logistics Complex in Yeongjong International City near Incheon on April 26, in more than one year and five months since breaking ground in November 2021.

The state-of-the-art Schenker Global Logistics Center was built on a 13,440-square-meter site with a project.

DB Schenker, founded in 1872 in Vienna, Austria, historically participated in World War II reconstruction projects in Europe and is a global German logistics company, with the German national railway company holding the largest stake in DB Schenker.

The IFEZ Authority actively worked with DB Schenker to resolve its difficulties in receiving approvals for lands in an Incheon International Airport logistics complex in order to attract the German company’s investment in the new global logistics center. This time, its efforts have paid off.
