2023 Pre-fall Collection

French luxury brand Louis Vuitton will hold a fashion show on April 29 at Jamsu Bridge over the Han River in Seoul.

According to Louis Vuitton Korea on April 19, Louis Vuitton will unveil its 2023 Pre-fall Collection for the first time under the lights of Jamsu Bridge over the Han River in Seoul. The Pre-Fall Collection refers to a fashion show for the transitional season before the fall/winter (FW) fashion shows.

Louis Vuitton held a 2020 cruise spin-off show at an Incheon International Airport hangar in 2019. At the time, the fashion show was a reproduction of the cruise show first put on in New York in May of the same year. But the fashion powerhouse explains that this fashion show is more meaningful as it will be the first time in the world to take the wraps off these new fashion items and designs.

“I am very happy to be with Louis Vuitton’s first pre-fall fashion show in Seoul, a cultural hub that the world is paying much attention to,” Louis Vuitton Chairman Pietro Beccari said. “The runway on the bridge is the most beautiful embodiment of common values of a world-class city and a global brand that endlessly presents what comes next.”

Hwang Dong-hyeok, director of the popular Netflix original series “Squid Game,” will participate in creating the fashion show’s concept and scenography design.
