KEPCO announced on April 18th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Japanese oil company Idemitsu at the KEPCO Art Center in Seoul on April 14 for cooperation in establishing a clean ammonia supply chain.

On this day, Jeon Chan-hyeok, head of the New Growth Business Development Department at KEPCO, signed the agreement with Hiroshi Tanaka, head of the Carbon Neutrality Strategy Department at Idemitsu.

With the signing of the MOU, the two companies plan to strengthen exchanges of information about overseas clean ammonia production projects and actively discover possible areas for cooperation through joint research on the production, transportation, and supply of clean ammonia.
