GBO Awards 2022
Shinhan Bank announced on April 6 that its Cambodian subsidiary, Shinhan Cambodia Bank, was named Most Innovative Digital Bank in Cambodia at the GBO Awards 2022 organized by Global Business Outlook.
Being honored as Most Innovative Digital Bank is significant for Shinhan Cambodia Bank as it has become the first Korean financial company in Cambodia to be externally recognized for its digital innovation achievements.
In February 2022, Shinhan Cambodia Bank launched SOL 2.0, a mobile app, and established an e-KYC process that allows customers to verify their real names and open new accounts, making it easier to access products and services on mobile devices.
In July 2022, Shinhan Cambodia Bank introduced Bakong Pay, which allows customers to make various payments using QR codes, and also introduced a mobile withdrawal feature that allows customers to withdraw cash from ATMs via SOL 2.0.
From April 2023, Shinhan Cambodia Bank will hold an event to recharge the TADA app e-wallet through Shinhan Bank accounts with additional bonuses and cash back.
