NH Space Industry Issue

Although the New Space industry is still in its infancy, in the US and Korea, signs indicating the formation of space industry infrastructure are emerging. Amid a wealth of positive events set for this year, related companies are expected to blossom in earnest in terms of preparedness and performance. Reductions in transportation costs to space, the use of general-purpose electronic components, the development of related software and 3D printing technology, and billionaires’ space investments are all driving the realization of the New Space era. Now is the time to study both US and domestic space-related companies. In this report, we examine the space businesses offering high visibility, classifying promising business areas such as space communications/Internet, satellite image big-data solutions, and launch vehicle hardware and launch services, as well as related companies. With the New Space era expected to kick off in earnest in 2023 and bloom throughout 2024, the time is ripe to look to space.
