ESG investment fund inflows have stagnated, reflecting weakness in the stock market. Ahead of the implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) in the US, the EU has also announced various policies to prevent the transfer of facilities to the US. As a result, we expect an increase in global investment in eco-friendly and renewable energy. After 10 years of debate, the EU has adopted measures to strengthen gender diversity on BODs. Meanwhile, Korea’s Financial Services Commission (FSC) is reflecting ESG-related support and environment creation plans in its 2023 policy tasks.
