Better Customer Service

LG U+ announced on March 14 that it will provide foreign language chatting services for foreign customers.

The foreign language chatting customers service offers four languages -- English, Russian, Chinese, and Vietnamese. It also utilizes Google Assistant-based automatic translation for other languages. The chat counseling is provided by professional Russian, Chinese, and Vietnamese counselors who were hired last year to boost the accuracy of service content.

The service can be used by any customer who wants to consult in a foreign language through a specialized website and Facebook Messenger without authentication. Foreign language experts provide information on more than 25 types of telecommunication services such as service subscription and cancellation, bill payment, home product installation, and device use in real time through chat consultations.

LG U+ plans to open a multilingual homepage next month so that foreign customers can easily obtain information on service subscription information, rate inquiries, and introductions to mobile phones and plans without having to directly talk to counselors. The English service will be launched, followed by the Chinese, Vietnamese, and Russian services.
