Through Joint Venturing
KT announced on Feb. 28 that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on forging a strategic partnership in developing the DX business in the Philippines with Converge ICT Solutions, a Philippine Internet Service Provider (ISP), at MWC 2023 Spain on Feb. 27.
A ceremony was held in honor of the signing of the agreement with the presence of KT CEO Koo Hyun-mo, KT Global Business Division Head Moon Seong-wook, Converge founder and CEO Dennis Anthony H. UY, and Converge co-founder Maria Grace Y. UY.
Through this agreement, the two companies will provide various digital transformation (DX) services to Filipino customers by cooperating in business development in various fields such as Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS), Mobility as a Service (MaaS), internet data centers (IDCs) and e-commerce based on artificial intelligence (AI), cloud and big data.
In addition, the two will cooperate in establishing a joint venture (JV) in the Philippines for DX business development.
