Medytox announced on Feb. 27 that a high-level delegation from Dubai conducted due diligence on two Medytox factories in Osong, Korea on Feb. 23 and 24.

The delegation was led by Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi, CEO of Dubai Science Park (DSP) under Tecom Group, a state-run company in Dubai.

DSP’s visit to Korea was a follow-up to a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the establishment of a toxin manufacturing plant, which was signed in January when Medytox officials participated in an economic delegation to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) during Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol’s visit to the UAE.

The DSP delegation conducted the due diligence at Medytox Plant 2, which is based on the U.S. FDA’s cGMP and the European Medicines Agency (EMA)’s GMP standards and the world’s first and only plant for non-animal liquid toxin product MT10109L. They visited the plant and inspected toxin and filler production facilities.

Meanwhile, Medytox officials signed an MOU with DSP on the establishment of an MT10109L-based toxin manufacturing plant on Jan. 17.
