World’s Largest Energy and Power Generation Exhibition

Doosan Enerability announced on Feb. 22 that it will showcase its technologies at PowerGen International (PGI) 2023 to be held in Orlando, the United States.

PGI is the world’s largest energy and power generation exhibition, held annually in the United States. This year, it will run at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from Feb. 21 to 23 (local time).

On Feb. 21, the first day of the exhibition, Doosan Enerability invited domestic and foreign customers and industry officials to the Doosan Decarbonization Conference and publicized its technology. In the morning, Doosan Enerability officials made presentations on the status of gas turbine development and a gas turbine development roadmap, the status of hydrogen hybrid turbine development and the status of hydrogen turbine development. In the afternoon, they introduced its nuclear power business.

On the same day, Kim Jeong-kwan, head of Doosan Enerability’s Marketing Division, met with José N. Reyes, co-founder and CTO of NuScale Power and discussed current issues in the global SMR market, NuScale’s SMR technology and a cooperation plan.
